These rules encourage all European countries to pursue investments towards more sustainable energy sources to help reach their carbon neutrality objectives. In our view, this decision is the right step forward towards a greener and more sustainable Europe.
If the European Council and the European Parliament do not object to it, the Complementary Delegated Act will enter into force and apply as of 1 January 2023.
