Information notice pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation so-called “GDPR”).


Processing of Personal Data for browsing the website

Dear user,
pursuant to the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data and in particular art. 13 of the EU Regulation n. 2016/679, the company newcleo S.r.l., as the data controller (hereinafter the “Data Controller”) wishes to inform you that while you browse the website www.newcleo.com, data concerning you may be collected.

1. Data Controller

The data controller is newcleo S.r.l., with headquarters in Via Galliano, 27, 10129 Turin, VAT number 12517780016, contacts dpo@newcleo.com.
The Data Controller can process the data directly, through its employees authorized to do so, or by making use of external collaborators, who in this case assume the qualification of Data Processors. The updated list of Data Processors is made available by the Data Controller upon request.

2. Nature of the data processed and purpose of the processing

  1. 1 Navigation data

These are ICT data and cookies (navigation or session), which are considered personal data.
The collected data are processed by the owner for:
a) the execution of its institutional tasks, including the purposes of communication, scientific dissemination and archiving;
b) obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check user response to published content.

  1. 2 Data voluntarily provided by the user/visitor

These are Personal Data (such as name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number) which are collected only upon specific voluntary request of the user when he expresses, independently and freely, the desire to get in touch with the Owner.
The data provided by the interested party will be processed, if necessary, also for the assessment, exercise or defense of the rights of the Data Controller in court.

Privacy settings

The Data Controller processes the personal data of employees on the basis of the following legal bases:

• Pre-contractual relationship – art. 6.1, lett. b), for the purposes referred to in paragraph 2.1, lett. a),
• Consent – art. 6.1, letter a), for the purposes referred to in paragraph 2.2, lett. b).  

4. Particular categories of data processed

Among the information acquired, there is no so-called particular data.

5. Processing methods

Data collection takes place in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, relevance and non-excess in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
The site of the owner uses Piwik for Analytics to collect information in aggregate and anonymous form in order to monitor and analyze access to the pages of the site only to understand the response to the content.

6. Obligation or right to provide data

Without prejudice to the autonomy of the interested party, any refusal to provide personal data does not make it impossible, in whole or in part, to establish, continue or properly execute the service with the interested party.

7. Communication and dissemination of data

The data collected will be accessed only by specifically appointed persons, with the obligation to abide by specific written instructions and confidentiality, and in any case according to the appropriate company procedure adopted by us.
The data provided by the interested party will be processed, if necessary, also for the assessment, exercise or defense of the rights of the Data Controller in court. The data may be disclosed to Public Bodies and / or Authorities in all cases indicated by law and in the event that it is necessary to carry out specific orders from the Judicial Authority or the Judicial Police.
The data is not disclosed to indeterminate subjects or transfers abroad.

8. Rights of the interested party

The legislation on the protection of personal data (articles 12-22 of EU Regulation 679/2016) guarantees the interested party the right to be informed about the processing of data and the right to access the data at any time and request its updating. , integration and rectification. Where the conditions provided for by the law are met, the data subject can also claim the right to delete data, limit their processing, data portability, opposition to processing, and not be subjected to decisions based solely on automated processing.
If the processing of personal data is based on the consent of the interested party, he or she has the right to revoke the consent given.

If the interested party considers his rights to be infringed, he can protect himself by filing a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Garante) for the protection of personal data.

9. Data retention period

The data is recorded and stored for the duration of the processing: subsequently, the data will be stored for a further 7 years, for the current and future business growth (period determined by the owner for the marketing of the first 4th generation clean nuclear reactor).
