CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE

Dear Mr/Mrs
We hereby inform you that, for the purposes of the selection procedures, and more
specifically to verify the qualifications for recruitment and/or to establish alternative working
methods and proceed with your candidacy, newcleo S.r.l. is obliged to obtain and process
your data, qualified as personal data pursuant to the above regulations. According to such
provisions, anyone processing personal data is obliged to inform the Data subject about the
purposes and some of the characterising aspects of such processing. Therefore, in
accordance with current legislation, this statement indicates the characteristics of the
processing of your data as carried out by us.

1. Nature of the processed data and purposes of the processing

This concerns data relating to the selection of candidates to establish an employment
relationship (Biographical data, Tax ID, Personal data, Professional data, Education and
training data, Economic-financial data, ICT data, Multimedia data), acquired by us upon
receiving your curriculum vitae: if present on your curriculum vitae, such data may concern
members of your household and/or life partners as well.

The information obtained may include the collection of the so-called Special data (e.g. data
revealing your health status or membership in a trade union), if these are present on you
Curriculum Vitae.

4. Methods of processing

The processing shall be carried out with suitable methods and procedures, including IT and
telematic ones, whose rationale is strictly related to the purposes indicated in point 1 above,
and in any case in such a way as to guarantee the confidentiality and security of personal
data. Your data may be made available to the staff of the structures in charge of managing
staff and IT systems, to perform the duties falling within their competence in matters of
management of your employment relationship or the organisation of your work.

5. Obligation or option to provide data

Without prejudice to the autonomy of the Data subject, depending on the specific nature of
the data concerned, any refusal to provide such personal data may make it impossible – in
whole or in part – to proceed with your application.

6. Communication and disclosure of data

Your personal data are not subject to widespread disclosure: where necessary for the
positions or activities you applied for, your personal data may be the subject of information
flows to other employees or managers of newcleo S.r.l.
Your data may be used by third parties assisting the Company with the management of
operational practices: in these cases, they act as Data processors under the guidance and
control of the Company.

7. Rights of the Data subject

The law concerning the protection of personal data (Articles 12-22 of EU Regulation
679/2016) guarantees the Data subject the right to be informed on the processing of data,
as well as the right to access such data at any time and ask for them to be updated,
integrated or rectified. Furthermore, where the conditions laid down by the law apply, the
Data subject may claim the right to erase data, to limit their processing, to data portability,
to object to their processing, and not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated
processing.
Should the data processing be based on the consent of the Data subject, the latter has the
right to withdraw such consent.

Should Data subjects consider their rights were violated, they may protect themselves by
lodging a complaint with the Italian Data protection authority

8. Period of storage

Your personal data shall be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes
indicated in this privacy notice as well as, following the completion of such purposes, until
the limitation period of the rights arising as a result of the legal and factual relationship
between the parties and connected – either directly or indirectly – to the purposes
themselves.
With specific regard to data relating to CVs received for recruitment purposes, in case of a
negative outcome of the evaluation data shall be further stored for a 12-month period
starting from the date of reception your Curriculum Vitae, for a possible assessment of the
candidate for future positions.
